Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department (ISPR) said in a press release that 23 Pakistan Army personnel were killed and 29 were injured during clashes with Afghanistan.
A press release issued by the ISPR on Sunday said that ‘According to reliable intelligence and loss estimates in Afghanistan, more than 200 Taliban and their allied terrorists were killed, while the number of injured is much higher.’
The statement said that ‘Pakistan Taliban demands the government to take immediate and verifiable steps to neutralize terrorist groups operating from their territory, including Fitna al-Khawarij, Fitna al-Hindustan and ISIS. Otherwise, Pakistan will continue to target terrorist targets to defend its people.
