Sahiwal: Preparations for the sixth international conference organized by the Punjab Arts Council, Sahiwal Division, have begun. This conference will be held on February 12 and 13 next year. The main theme of this international conference is “Environment, Literature and Culture: Searching for a New Dialogue”. The meeting reviewed the arrangements and research topics of the conference in detail. Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail said that this conference will prove to be an excellent platform to discuss and discuss global environmental issues, especially the local challenges faced by the Sahiwal Division, such as flood prevention, river bank erosion and water resource management. He directed that these local issues should also be highlighted in the articles. He said that this conference should not only be a literary but also an academic platform where sustainable solutions to environmental problems can be found by using creative thinking. He said that creative minds should be connected to the issue of the environment so that a positive awareness can be brought about through the combination of science and art. Organizing academic Urdu conferences is another link in the promotion of literature by the Sahiwal Arts Council, which will be organized grandly.
