Islamabad: The unique feat of the Islamabad police in the case against PTI founder Imran Khan has come to light. Despite being acquitted in the case, the Islamabad police submitted a challan against Imran Khan.

The local court in Islamabad has also started proceedings for the trial of Imran Khan; however, the PTI lawyer pointed out the acquittal of the founder of PTI in this case.

PTI lawyers said that on February 27, 2024, Judicial Magistrate Shabbir Bhatti had given the acquittal decision, the court had acquitted the founder of PTI and others in the Azadi March case, so action against Imran Khan is not possible.

The case number registered in Tarnol police station is 627, in which the founder of PTI was acquitted. The police submitted a challan against the founder in the Tarnol police station case number 627.
