Rawalpindi: Another attempt by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi to meet Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan in Adiala Jail has failed, while PTI founder Uzma Khan’s sister was allowed to meet, but the others had to return without meeting.
On the day of his meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi reached Dahgal Naka along with members of the provincial assembly and workers, where he was stopped by police personnel. After not being allowed to go to Adiala Jail, Sohail Afridi left from Dahgal Naka itself.
Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Noreen Khanum were also not allowed to go beyond the Factory checkpoint, while the PTI chief’s cousin Qasim Khan was sent back when he reached near Adiala Jail. Later, the PTI founder’s sister, Uzma Khan, was allowed to meet him.
