Sahiwal: Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail reviewed the process of distribution of relief checks among the victims under the Flood Rehabilitation Program 2025 of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz at the Quaid-e-Azam Stadium. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mehmood and other concerned officers were also present. Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail inspected the verification process of the flood victims and directed the concerned officers to further expedite the verification process so that the victims do not face any kind of trouble or delay. Talking to the victims, he said that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, will never leave the affected families alone and complete compensation for their losses will be ensured. During the briefing, it was informed that so far, the survey of 7,892 people and 765 affected houses has been completed, while the accounts of 2,546 affected people have been opened by the Bank of Punjab so that the timely distribution of relief funds can be possible.
