Sahiwal: A farewell ceremony was held in honor of former DPO Sahiwal Dr. Tahir Rehman Rana on his transfer, in which the current DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu, Commissioner Sahiwal Dr. Asif Tufail, RPO Sahiwal Mehboob Rashid, Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Shahid Mahmood, SP Investigation Farooq Anwar, ROCCD, DSPs, SHOs, office staff and police officers and officials from across the district participated. The participants paid tribute to Dr. Tahir Rehman Rana’s professional services, leadership skills and people-friendly initiatives and expressed their best wishes for him. Dr. Tahir Rehman Rana said in his address that the time spent in Sahiwal is an honor for me. I am deeply grateful for the cooperation, love and trust of the people of Sahiwal and the police force. Being posted in Sahiwal was an honor and a golden opportunity for me to serve. I pray that Sahiwal always remains a cradle of peace and prosperity. At the end of the ceremony, a lavish dinner was also organized in honor of DPO Dr. Tahir Rehman Rana.
