Sahiwal: Sahiwal Division Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail has announced a people-friendly project for the citizens and said that the Oval Sports Complex will be upgraded and converted into a beautiful food street. In this regard, a special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail in which Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mahmood, Director Development Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Captain (R) Osama Majeed, Chief Officer Corporation Sheikh Ashfaq Ahmed, AC General Ghulam Hussain Bhatti, AC Sahiwal Maham Wahid and Deputy MD WASA Adnan Gul and officers of the relevant departments participated. It was decided in the meeting that tough tiles will be installed in the Oval Complex, fancy lights will be installed, and the area will be declared a vehicle-free zone in the evenings so that citizens can enjoy entertainment in a peaceful environment. Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail directed that the ground-level entrances be beautifully designed and that electrical wires be underground, so that the project is modern and safe. He said that with the completion of this project, the citizens of Sahiwal will be provided with the best facilities for entertainment and healthy activities.
