Rawalpindi: A case has been registered against the mosque preacher for violating the Sound System Act.

A case has been registered against Sakhawat Hussain, the preacher of the Abu Bakr Siddique Mosque located within the limits of Jatli police station.

The text of the case states that action was taken against the use of a speaker during the speech on Friday, while the case was registered on the complaint of Head Constable Sagheer Ahmed Shah, and action was taken under Section 6 of the Punjab Sound System Act 2015.

The police collected evidence and started further investigation. According to the police report, the sound could be heard from the Abu Bakr Siddique Mosque far and wide.

After the case was registered, further action is expected against the accused Sakhawat Hussain, son of Ali Hussain Shah.
