India bans Pakistan’s private English TV channels, OK TV, Dawn TV, English websites Dawn, Daily Dawn, and Nawa-i-Waqt London.

New Dehli: India has blocked all social media handles of Pakistan’s English media outlets, OK TV London, Dawn TV, and English website Dawn London, and all social media handles of Britain’s most widely published newspapers, Nawa-i-Waqt London and Dawn London, accusing them of spreading propaganda.

India has also carried out a major crackdown on social media after the Pahalgam incident and banned more than a dozen Pakistani YouTube channels on charges of spreading inflammatory content. Among them were the YouTube channels of OK TV London, Dawn TV and English website Dawn London and Nawa-e-Waqt London Dawn, Sama TV, ARY News, Bol News, Safar, Geo News, and Suno News.
