London: The Newham Independents Party, established in Newham, London, has quickly risen to prominence as a key political force within the borough. Since November 2023, the party has become Newham’s second biggest political entity, marking a significant shift in the local political landscape.
As the main and only opposition party elected to Newham Council, the Newham Independents have effectively ended 12 years of uninterrupted Labour rule. Their emergence reflects a growing demand for diverse representation and a departure from traditional party politics, with a strong focus on grassroots activism and addressing local concerns that have long been overlooked by the previous administration.
According to G.M. Khan, speaking to the Largest circulating Bilingual newspaper in the UK, and the award-winning newspaper of the year, Daily Dawn and Dawn TV that the Newham Independents Party is organising an event.
