London: A reference was organized under the Pakistan Peoples Party Europe in connection with the 18th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, hosted by Acting President Abrar Mir, PPP Europe. Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Spokesperson Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Mayor Karachi participated in the reference through their video message, while Chaudhry Nisar, Joint Secretary Greater London, performed the duties of the director. Prayers were also offered for the eternal peace of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and the martyred workers in the ceremony.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that on December 27, the first female Prime Minister of the Muslim Ummah, Shaheed Rani Benazir Bhutto, who was the greatest implementer of democracy, was taken away from the workers of the PPP, Pakistan, and her family. On this day, we workers renew our pledge and loyalty that we will support Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Ali Zardari to complete the unfinished mission of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for the supremacy and rights of the people in Pakistan. The hosts of the ceremony, Abrar Mir, Mushtaq Lashari, Amber Ijaz and Mehrban Malik said that we will support our Chairman Bilawal Bhutto at every level to complete the unfinished mission of our martyred leader. These leaders said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, following in the footsteps of Fakhar Asia and the Leader of the People, sacrificed her life while fighting for the people’s and democratic politics and the rights of the Pakistani people and made Bhutto’s name immortal.
Rashid Hashmi and Waheed Nazir of Muslim Noon said that martyrs live and we can never forget the way Bibi Shaheed fought for democracy with our leadership. Fawad Khan and Adeel-ur-Rehman of Awami National Party said that it is a matter of honor for us that we are paying tribute to a great leader like Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on her death anniversary. Senior leaders of PPP including Raja Akram, Advocate Malik Ghulam Mohiuddin, Chaudhry Sarnawaz, Fakhar Imran, Sajid Kazmi, Lord Pasha, Muhammad Malik Orakzai and Yasir Mahmood, expressed their views and paid tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s democratic services, thoughts and sacrifice in powerful words.
