Karachi: Renowned businessman Arif Habib has reiterated his commitment to making Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) a profitable airline and said that he has a clear message to the employees that only those who perform will remain in PIA.
Talking to the media on the occasion of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Inter-Schools Final in Naya Nazimabad, Arif Habib said that making PIA a profitable airline is the top priority. PIA employees will be protected because PIA became the world’s number two successful airline because of its employees.
He said that the message to the employees is clear that the future of their jobs will depend on their performance; only those who perform will remain in PIA.
Arif Habib said that under the agreement, the name of PIA cannot be changed.
