Islamabad: The number of Pakistanis going abroad for work has increased by five percent, and a total of 762,499 Pakistanis went abroad for work in 2025.
According to the Ministry of Overseas Pakistan, a 5 percent increase was recorded in the number of Pakistani workers sent abroad last year. A total of 762,499 people went abroad for work in 2025.
According to the announcement, remittances from overseas Pakistani workers increased by 9 percent in 2025, and remittances reached $40 billion.
