London: In the wake of rising tensions between Iran and the US, Britain has also tightened security measures in the region. The British Air Force has deployed four Typhoon fighter jets to Qatar.
The Ministry of Defence says that this deployment is purely defensive in nature and the situation in the region is being closely monitored. This move aims to protect allied interests in view of potential threats.
