Peshawar: After the decision of the provincial government, the Excise and Taxation Department in Peshawar is holding a grand auction of personalized Marks Choice number plates at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar. During this, great interest has been shown by the public. Many choice number plates have been sold at high prices in the auction so far.
Afridi 1 was bought at the highest bid in the auction. Afridi One was bid for Rs 10 million, 4 million and 50 thousand; however, it was bought by Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi.
The second-highest bid among the auctioned number plates so far was for Khan 1, which was auctioned for Rs 10 million and 11 lakh. Khan 1 number plate was purchased by MPA Naik Muhammad Khan. Bidding is ongoing for a larger number of plates in the auction.
