When will the Ramadan moon be sighted in Pakistan? The Meteorological Department has predicted

Islamabad/Lahore: The Meteorological Department has predicted the sighting of the Ramadan moon 1447 AH in Pakistan. According to the department, there is a strong possibility that the Ramadan moon will be sighted on February 18, 2026. The birth of the Ramadan moon is expected to occur on February 17 at 5:01 PM according to Pakistan Standard Time, while the chances of seeing the moon on 29 Shaban 1447 AH are favorable.

According to meteorological experts, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy or clear in most parts of Pakistan on February 18, due to which there is a possibility of moon sighting.

The Meteorological Department has also released the last moon sighting times in different regions:

Azad Kashmir: 6:58 PM

Balochistan: 7:47 PM

Sindh: 7:24 PM

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 7:13 PM

Punjab: 7:08 PM

Gilgit-Baltistan: 6:53 PM

According to this forecast, Ramadan is likely to start across the country from February 19.
