London: Police have revealed that criminal gangs are sending children to steal smartphones before they go to school and are offering rewards of up to 380 pounds in exchange for the latest Apple iPhone through Snapchat.
According to a report by the British newspaper The Guardian, the Metropolitan Police has said that it is intensifying its campaign against mobile phone snatching incidents and is using new resources, including drones and electric bikes, to chase the suspects.
London is the worst affected in the UK in terms of mobile phone theft, and the Metropolitan Police has also faced criticism in this regard.
