London: The Freemasons’ attempt to sue the Metropolitan Police (Met), Britain’s largest police force, has failed. The High Court has upheld the decision under which the police are required to disclose their current or past membership.
The court, in a detailed 17-page judgment, ruled that there is no basis for the lawsuit and that disclosure of such information is essential for police officers to perform their duties properly.
