Lahore: The problems faced by passengers at major airports in Pakistan have resurfaced. Those traveling abroad say that if they do not pay a bribe, they have to undergo repeated checks of passports and travel documents at different places, due to which long queues form, and several hours are spent just in immigration and security clearance.
In videos going viral on social media, passengers can be seen complaining that the administration has failed to provide facilities according to the requirements of the modern era.
In recent weeks, Jinnah International Airport Karachi and Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore have been particularly prominent in the videos shared on social media platforms. In these videos, passengers can be seen standing in long queues, while some people also expressed extreme anxiety as the flight time approached.
