Former Australian cricketer McGill found guilty of cocaine supply

Sydney: Former Australian Test cricketer Stuart McGill was found guilty by a Sydney court on Thursday of participating in the supply of cocaine.

However, after more than six hours of deliberation, the jury acquitted McGill, 54, of the more serious charge of being involved in the supply of drugs on a large scale.

According to police, retired leg-spinner McGill introduced his cocaine dealer to a colleague in 2021.
