Delhi: Air Marshal Udesh Kumar Bharti of the Indian Air Force confirmed the downing of a Rafale plane by the Pakistani Air Force, saying that we are at war, and there are losses in war.
During a press conference in New Delhi, when a journalist asked Air Marshal Udesh Kumar (AK) Bharti if he could give figures about how many assets India has lost, and that news of the downing of Rafale planes is circulating in the international media.
In response to this question, Air Marshal AK Bharti said that India is currently at war and there are losses in war.
He told the journalist that he should ask whether India had achieved its objectives, especially the target of destroying terrorist hideouts, and the answer is yes.
Air Marshal AK Bharti said he would not comment on the losses at this time because it would benefit the enemy and he did not want to give any advantage to the enemy.
Air Marshal AK Bharti said he would only say that they had achieved their objectives and all their pilots had returned safely.
