Delhi: A case has been registered in Delhi against Indian journalist Kiran Thapar for interviewing Pakistani analyst Najam Sethi.
The case against Kiran Thapar has been registered on the complaint of Indian lawyer Gautam Sabharwal.
The Indian lawyer took the stand in the case that Najam Sethi must have taken a briefing from the ISI General Headquarters before giving the interview to the Indian journalist and this fact was probably known to Kiran Thapar.
While giving an interview to an Indian YouTube channel, Gautam Sabharwal objected to several questions asked by Kiran Thapar to Najam Sethi.
He further said that Najam Sethi, in response to a question from Kiran Thapar, said, “I believe that India is involved in the Pahalgam incident, whether it was a false flag operation conducted by the Indian government or was carried out by inciting an armed group.” But Kiran Thapar, after hearing this answer, did not utter a single word in defense of his country.
The Indian lawyer said that Kiran Thapar should be arrested under sections 152 and 153 of the PNS and sections 3 and 4 of the Official Secrets Act.
