Tel Aviv: Iran launched more missile attacks on Israel on Monday morning, killing four more people and injuring dozens.
According to news agencies, emergency sirens sounded across the country with the attacks and the fighting has intensified.
Both countries have urged citizens to move to safer places and stay away from ‘target areas’.
Iran says it has launched 100 missiles and has also expressed its intention to carry out more attacks.
The death toll in Israel after the attack has risen to at least 18, and the Israeli military said it had retaliated by striking 10 sites in Tehran and targeting the Quds Force, the main wing of the Revolutionary Guards and a major military and intelligence operation outside the country.
According to reports, Tel Aviv was rocked by explosions early in the morning when a defense system intercepted an Iranian missile and plumes of smoke were seen rising.
Officials said some of the missiles hit residential buildings, killing two men and two women.
