London/Tehran: Israel has carried out an airstrike on the headquarters of Iran’s state broadcaster, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, in central Tehran.
According to Dawn TV’s TikTok account, footage shared online shows the building on fire after the attack.
The video clip shows the moment a missile hit the building during a live broadcast. Host Sahar Emami was doing a TV program when the explosion occurred.
The London-based news channel Iran International reported that the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting resumed broadcasting from another studio after the attack and that host Emami joined the news network’s live broadcast.
