Tehran: The ongoing tension between Iran and Israel has entered its 11th day. The Israeli army announced on Monday that it had targeted 6 airports located in the western, eastern and central parts of Iran.
At the same time, air strikes have also been carried out on Iranian military installations in the Kermanshah region. According to the Israeli army statement, the air force is currently targeting military infrastructure in Kermanshah, located in western Iran.
The Israeli military has acknowledged that a drone had been shot down in Iranian airspace, but has also clarified that there is no risk of information being leaked.
Iranian media reported that Iran’s air defense system shot down four drones in the western part of the country.
Israeli air strikes in the Iranian province of Yazd on Sunday also reportedly killed 10 Revolutionary Guard personnel.
Iran had previously claimed to have shot down an Israeli drone over Khorramabad. Iran said a drone was also targeted in the central province, averting a threat to the nearby city of Arak and its nuclear reactor.
