Delhi: According to the Indian newspaper India Today, once again, the social media accounts of Pakistani showbiz personalities have become unavailable in India.
On Wednesday, reports emerged that the restrictions imposed on prominent Pakistani social media accounts in India have been temporarily lifted, after which there was considerable criticism from Indian social media users.
Now if an Indian user searches for the accounts of these personalities on Instagram, a notification appears in which it is written ‘Not available in India. This content has been restricted on legal request.’
Sources have told India Today that the temporary availability of these accounts was due to a technical glitch.
A government source claimed that ‘If you see some accounts on X, YouTube or Meta, they will be blocked again in a few hours. It was all a technical glitch which has now been fixed.’
