Rawalpindi: It has been revealed that helpers are being used to conduct ECGs at the Institute of Cardiology.
A video of hospital staff abusing people who were getting ECGs done has also gone viral on social media.
In the viral video, the staff can be clearly seen abusing patients, while the person who refused to do the ECG is not an ECG technician but a helper.
According to hospital officials, Shoaib is from the Jenny Tourelle staff of a private company, an employee of a private company has allegedly been fired from the hospital several times.
The hospital administration took the position that the matter is in our notice and an inquiry committee has been formed on it. Once the committee completes its inquiry, it will be shared with the media.
The hospital administration further said that due to the workload on ECG, sometimes a helper is assigned with the technician.
