Jeddah: Madinah has once again been awarded the status of a healthy city by the World Health Organization (WHO).

According to Dawn TV, Madinah completed more than 80 WHO standards, on which the city was issued a certificate as a healthy city.

The Governor of Madinah, Prince Salman bin Sultan, received this certificate of certification from the Saudi Minister of Health. He said that Madinah’s re-accreditation as a healthy city is proof of how determined the Saudi leadership is to improve the standard of living of the people.

Madinah received this honor for the first time in 2019. This time, 14 other Saudi cities, including Taif, Tabuk, and Diriyah, have also been included in the list of healthy cities.

According to Prince Salman bin Sultan, Medina’s rapid development is turning it into a successful development model regionally and globally.
