Muslim citizens are pressuring European governments to adopt anti-Israel policies

London: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted on Monday that Israel is facing increasing isolation globally and will have to become more self-reliant in the coming years.
The Israeli newspaper Times of Israel reported that while addressing a conference of the Accountant General of the Israeli Ministry of Finance in Jerusalem, Netanyahu admitted that ‘Israel is in a way isolated.’
During the Israeli aggression in Gaza that began on September 7, 2023, Israel has carried out air and ground attacks on several parts of the Palestinian territory, causing more than 64,000 deaths, the majority of which are women and children.
According to the United Nations, Gaza could soon face a famine-like situation due to the siege.
Due to the Israeli aggression, some European countries have not only condemned Tel Aviv’s attacks but also announced their recognition of the Palestinian state.
Netanyahu said that since the attacks on Gaza, Israel has faced two new threats, including demographic changes in Europe as a result of migration from Muslim-majority countries and the increasing influence of Israel’s opponents on digital platforms with the help of new technologies.
He believed that these challenges had been at work for a long time, but came to the fore during the ongoing war that began with Hamas attacks in southern Israel on October 7, 2023.
Netanyahu, referring to demographic changes in Europe, said that as a result of ‘unlimited migration’ there, Muslims have become a ‘significant minority – influential, very aggressive’.
He claimed that Muslim citizens of these countries are pressuring European governments to adopt anti-Israel policies.
