Pakistan to play all its matches in Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital, starting with a match against Bangladesh on October 2

Guwahati: The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup begins today, and the opening match will be played between India and Sri Lanka in Guwahati.
A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament, including defending champions Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India.
The Pakistani women’s team will play all its matches in Colombo, Sri Lanka’s capital. The team will begin its campaign with a match against Bangladesh on October 2.
Captain Fatima Sana said that the training sessions in Colombo were very useful, and I am happy with the energy and commitment of the players. She expressed hope that the team will play its best game.
The Pakistani women’s team includes captain Fatima Sana, Muniba Ali, Sidra Amin, Alia Riaz, Shawal Zulfiqar, Sadaf Shams, Natalia Pervez, Iman Fatima, Diana Baig, Ramin Shamim, Sidra Nawaz, Umaima Sohail, Syeda Arob Shah, Nashra Sindhu and Sadia Iqbal.
