Junior Hockey World Cup: Pakistan demands shifting of its matches from India

Lahore: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has demanded shifting of its matches in the Junior Hockey World Cup be shifted from India to a neutral venue.

The PHF has written a letter to the International Hockey Federation informing it of the security concerns of Pakistani players and said that playing matches in India is not safe for the players.

The Junior Hockey World Cup is starting in India from November 28 and will continue till December 11. It should be noted that even before this, the Pakistan hockey team had not gone to India to play the Asia Cup.
