Chaman: The international aid organization ‘Red Crescent’ has said that the bodies of seven Pakistani citizens have been transferred from Afghanistan to the border town of Chaman in Balochistan, including two security personnel and five civilians.
The deaths occurred during clashes on the Pak-Afghan border near Chaman on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, in which heavy weapons were used by both sides.
A ceasefire is in effect between the two countries for 48 hours (until 6 pm on Friday), however, residents of Chaman and other border areas continue to live in a state of fear, anxiety and uncertainty.
