Mashhad: Anti-government protests in Iran continue for the 14th day today

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have claimed to have arrested an Israeli spy in an operation during public order efforts during the nationwide protests.

According to Iranian media, top officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, have repeatedly claimed that foreign hands may be involved in the recent protests.

The intelligence wing of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards has arrested a foreign citizen on charges of spying for Israel.

The nationality and identity of the arrested spy have not yet been revealed, but officials say that the suspect was involved in collecting sensitive information and providing it to Israeli institutions.

It is worth noting that this arrest occurred at a time when protests in Iran, which began on December 28, against inflation, economic hardship, and unemployment, had intensified.

Meanwhile, the Attorney General has warned that the protesters are rioters and enemies of God, for whom the law provides the death penalty.

It should be noted that so far, about 50 people have been killed in the ongoing protests in Iran, including security personnel, while more than 250 people have been arrested.
