London: The foreign ministers of France, Germany, Italy and Britain have said they support the Arab-backed plan for Gaza reconstruction, which will cost $53 billion and will not displace Palestinians.
According to the foreign news agency ‘Reuters’, a joint statement has been issued by the foreign ministers of France, Germany, Italy and Britain.
A joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of the European Union said that the plan shows a realistic path for the reconstruction of Gaza and, if implemented, will greatly improve the disastrous conditions of Palestinians living in Gaza.
It should be noted that the Egyptian plan for the reconstruction of Gaza was approved at the Arab summit on March 4.
However, US President Donald Trump and Israel rejected the plan.
