Amritsar: India has forcibly stopped 60 Indian women in India. According to diplomatic sources, these women are Indian citizens, who are married to Pakistani citizens, and these women have gone to India to meet their family and relatives.
India has stopped 60 women who went to Pakistan from leaving the country. Sources say that the 60 women stopped by India are married to Pakistani citizens. These women have long-term visas from Pakistan.
Dawn Sources say that along with the Indian women, their children have also been stopped from returning to Pakistan.
The Indian women had gone to India to meet their families and relatives, and the administration of the Indian city of Amritsar stopped these women from returning to Pakistan.
Indian women who want to return to Pakistan have been stranded in Amritsar for the past 2 days, they are not being allowed to go anywhere else from Amritsar.
It may be recalled that after the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan and India canceled visas issued to each other’s citizens under the SAARC visa exemption.
