Islamabad: The prices of petroleum products in the country are likely to increase by up to Rs 5.50 per liter for the next 15 days.
Dawn According to sources, the details of the working of the Oil Companies Advisory Council have come to light. Due to the high cost of oil in the global market, a working paper for oil marketing companies has been prepared.
According to sources, OGRA will send its summary to the government. The Prime Minister will approve the change in the prices of petroleum products on the recommendation of OGRA. The new prices will be implemented after the Prime Minister’s approval.
Sources said that it is proposed to increase the prices of high-speed diesel by Rs 5.27 per liter, petrol may become expensive by Rs 1.12 per liter.
In addition, kerosene is likely to become more expensive by Rs 4.16 per liter while light diesel is likely to become more expensive by Rs 4.13 per liter.
