Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader, former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Qayyum Niazi under house arrest for four days

Muzaffarabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, has been placed under house arrest for four days.

According to the order issued by the District Magistrate Mirpur, former Prime Minister Abdul Qayyum Niazi, along with his associates, are trying to disrupt the public order, and Abdul Qayyum Niazi was posing a threat to public order.

The order said that 16 MPO proceedings have been initiated against Abdul Qayyum Niazi; he will remain in the Central Jail for four days or until further orders. Abdul Qayyum Niazi has the authority to challenge this order in any authorized forum.

The District Magistrate Mirpur has sent a letter to the Secretary Assembly in this regard.
