Lahore: The national airline (PIA) has decided to stop its flight operations from Lahore to Paris. According to sources, PIA’s last flight from Paris to Lahore will depart on September 12, and the last flight from Lahore to Paris will be operated on September 17. According to a PIA spokesperson, the bilateral flight operation from Islamabad to Paris will remain fully operational, while the operational fleet will be limited for the renovation of aircraft in preparation for the British operation. It should be noted that PIA had started two weekly flights from Lahore to Paris on June 18. Sources say that out of the 777-built aircraft in PIA’s fleet, 7 Triple Seven aircraft are grounded. PIA is using Boeing 777 aircraft in flight operations to Saudi Arabia, Paris and Toronto.
