Islamabad Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shahzad Gondal indicted former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Tanveer Ilyas while hearing the diplomatic passport case, to which Sardar Tanveer Ilyas denied the health crime.

The court summoned the prosecution witnesses for the next hearing and adjourned the further hearing till October 6.

It should be noted that during his appearance in the District and Sessions Court for physical remand after his arrest last year, the FIA ​​prosecutor had taken the position that Sardar Tanveer Ilyas used a diplomatic passport after leaving the post of Prime Minister. He went to Saudi Arabia on a diplomatic passport, while according to the law, he could not use a passport after leaving the post of Prime Minister.

It should be remembered that PTI-backed Sardar Tanveer Ilyas was elected the 14th Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in 2022.
