TikTok has released its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the second quarter of 2025, which demonstrates TikTok’s continued commitment to providing a safe digital environment for users. This report, which covers data from April to June 2025, details the proactive steps TikTok took to identify and remove content that violated its Community Guidelines to ensure a positive experience for its global community.

During the second quarter of 2025, TikTok removed a total of 25,448,992 videos in Pakistan for violating Community Guidelines. Thus, the proactive content removal rate in Pakistan was 99.7 percent, while 96.2 percent of the videos removed were removed within 24 hours of being uploaded.

During the quarter, TikTok removed a total of 189 million videos globally, representing approximately 0.7% of the total content uploaded to the platform. Of the videos removed, 163,962,241 were removed based on detection by automated technologies, while 7,457,309 were reinstated after further review. The proactive content removal rate was 99.1%, and 94.4% of flagged content was removed within 24 hours of being posted. To maintain TikTok’s reputation, during the quarter, the platform removed 76,991,660 fake accounts and another 25,904,708 accounts suspected of belonging to users under the age of 13.

The report also shows that a large portion of videos removed globally—30.6 percent—contained sensitive or mature content that did not comply with TikTok’s policies. In addition, 14.0 percent of videos violated the platform’s safety and decency standards, while 6.1 percent of videos violated privacy and security guidelines.

Additionally, 45.0 percent of videos removed were reported as misinformation and 23.8 percent contained edited media or AI-generated content.
