Venezuela: Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez has reacted strongly to the US action and the arrest of President Nicolas Maduro, saying that Venezuela is fully prepared to defend itself and protect its natural resources and will not become a colony of any country under any circumstances.
Addressing the nation, Delcy Rodriguez said that President Nicolas Maduro has been kidnapped and that he is the constitutional president of Venezuela. She appealed to the people to show patience, unity, and solidarity to defend the country.
The Vice President said that after the US military action, Venezuela will take all possible measures to defend itself and protect national sovereignty. She clarified that Venezuela will not accept any external occupation of its natural resources.
