Watford: Prominent Kashmiri leader Chaudhry Muhammad Azeem, while expressing his reaction to the recent visit of Azad Kashmir President Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry to the UK and the US, has said that a judicial commission should be established to raise the Kashmir issue in the International Court of Justice, which will fight the case of the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people. Talking to media representatives, he said that the United Nations and the International Court of Justice should allow the Azad Kashmir government to extend its jurisdiction to occupied Kashmir so that both sides of the state can participate in the upcoming elections in Kashmir. The Kashmiri people should be allowed to meet, the ceasefire line should be removed. The main reason for this is that both countries have failed to give the Kashmiri people the right to vote. The Kashmiri people demand from the United Nations and the International Court of Justice that a tripartite conference be held in Geneva to resolve the Kashmir issue. So that a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue can be found at the political and diplomatic level. Chaudhry Muhammad Azeem termed the recent visit of Azad Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry to the UK and the US as disappointing. During his visit, he did not even mention in the British Parliament the extension of the Azad Kashmir Government to occupy Kashmir. The most striking thing is that the Prime Minister or President of the Azad Kashmir Government is not accompanied by any Foreign Minister or Foreign Secretary. So that the Kashmiri people and media abroad and elsewhere can ask questions and answer questions about the current situation in Kashmir. These friendly visits are causing a lot of tension. Even the British members of Parliament, while apologizing for Kashmir, said that the services of the members of the UN Security Council should be sought to resolve the Kashmir issue. So that the international community can find a political and diplomatic solution to the Kashmir issue. He said the tragedy is that Pakistan is not ready to raise the Kashmir issue in the International Court of Justice because of Gilgit and Baltistan. It has been given the status of an administrative province.
