Muzaffarabad: The Judicial Magistrate Islamabad has set April 12 as the date for the indictment of former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in the case of misuse of a diplomatic passport. The court has accepted the application for exemption from appearance.
Judicial Magistrate Ahmed Shahzad Gondal heard the case against the former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister for misuse of a diplomatic passport.
A request for exemption from appearance was filed by Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, which was accepted by the court. The court distributed copies of the challan for the indictment to the accused’s lawyer and fixed the date for the indictment at the next hearing.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till April 12. A case has been registered against former Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in the FIA.
