Bologna/Italy: Upon the arrival of Chaudhry Majeed Ahmed, Managing Director of the educational institutions Pakistan Overseas Higher Secondary School and Dukhtar Millat Higher Secondary School located in Mouza Mandir on Danga Road in Tehsil Kharian of Gujrat district, who had come from Pakistan on a recreational and study tour of European countries, and Chairman of the Alfalah Scholarship Scheme, a banquet was organized in his honor by senior journalist, Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Press Club Italy and Life Member of Lahore Press Club, Pakistani-born Italian Muhammad Ilyas Qadri. In which a large number of leading figures from political, social and religious organizations representing the Pakistani community participated. Upon the arrival of the guests, host Muhammad Ilyas Qadri, along with his son Hafiz Muhammad Owais Abdullah and grandson Muhammad Shah Mir Abdullah, warmly welcomed them. At the beginning of the program, Allama Qari Ghulam Yasin Raza Attari had the privilege of reciting the Holy Quran and praising God. Muhammad Ilyas Qadri thanked the guests, while Asif Raza, President of Pak Federation Italy, welcomed Chaudhry Majeed Ahmed on his arrival in Italy on behalf of the Pakistani community living in Italy. A few weeks ago, Pakistani-born Italian businessman Chaudhry Dilshad Hussain, also known as Moon Chhani, President of Pak Ittehad Association Italy, who visited Pakistan Overseas Higher Secondary School Mandir along with a delegation of overseas Pakistanis, expressed his impressions about the educational institution in a short speech. On this occasion, the President of Pak Ittehad Association Italy Executive Council Haji Chaudhry Nawab Khan Chandala, President of Tehreek-e-Kashmir Bologna Chaudhry Shahzad Mushtaq Banian, Executive Member of Italian Labor Union C-Cobus Chaudhry Yasir Arafat Topa also spoke. Chairman of Pak Federation Italy, Pakistani-born Italian businessman Chaudhry Amjad Hussain Rulia, while speaking, paid tribute to Chaudhry Majeed Ahmed and his institutions for the promotion of education in Pakistan. He helped deserving students in Pakistan to get an education. He also announced an annual donation of 1,000 euros to the supporting charity, the Al-Falah Scholarship Scheme. At the end of the program, Maulana Qari Ghulam Yasin Raza Attari prayed for the security and stability of Pakistan, the unity of the Muslim Ummah, the prosperity of our compatriots living abroad, and the speedy recovery of Zarwa Owais, the young granddaughter of host Muhammad Ilyas Qadri, from her back surgery.
