Islamabad/Brussels: The European Union has announced an aid of 1 million 50 thousand euros (approximately Rs 350 million) for those affected by the sudden and devastating floods caused by heavy monsoon rains in Pakistan.
According to Brussels sources, a statement issued by the European Mission in Islamabad said that dozens of areas have been affected as a result of the heavy rains, where hundreds of people have died so far, while many are still missing.
The European Union has announced that provide emergency humanitarian aid, expressing sympathy and solidarity with the affected families.
