Azad Kashmir Protest: 3 Azad Kashmir Police personnel martyred, 9 injured, violent incidents, 5 dead

Muzaffarabad: At least 5 people have been reported dead in violent incidents on the third day of protests on the appeal of the Awami Action Committee in Azad Kashmir.

Two in Muzaffarabad, two in Dharikot and one person was reported to have died in Dodial. According to Omar Nazir Kashmiri, a core member of the Awami Action Committee from Rawalakot, people have been killed in Drikot and Muzaffarabad. According to Hafeez Hamdani, a leader of the Awami Action Committee from Muzaffarabad, two people have been killed in Muzaffarabad. Raja Mehtab Ashraf from Dhirkot has said that two people have been killed at the Chamyati location. Meanwhile, Awami Action Committee core member Raja Amjad Ali Khan was arrested in Islamabad when he reached Islamabad airport to go abroad.

The Public Action Committee had called for a protest on September 29 in support of its 38 demands. On Tuesday, all entry points were closed, and a march was taken out towards the entry points. On Wednesday, a shutdown strike and public transport remained closed across Azad Kashmir. On Monday, one person was killed and about two dozen were injured during a public protest in Muzaffarabad.

The leader of the Public Action Committee, Shaukat Nawaz Mir, has announced that he will stand firm on his demands and said that there is a plan to kill me too. According to Umar Nazir Kashmiri, the people will start a march towards Muzaffarabad tonight.
