Islamabad: Jammu and Kashmir Joint Public Action Committee leader and advocate Raja Amjad Ali was arrested at Islamabad airport. He was returning to Kashmir from abroad.
After the arrest, committee member Sardar Umar Nazir has demanded his immediate release in a video message. He said that Raja Amjad Ali is part of the public struggle and keeping him in detention is tantamount to suppressing the voice of public rights.
According to the committee, he is peacefully highlighting public issues, and the government should release the arrested leader soon.
